Thank you for visiting my service. My name is Akis Karapanagiotis. I am the Founder and Managing Director of The Path Forward - Mentoring Center. I have struggled my entire life with navigating the complexities and intricacies of life -be it in terms of career choices, study options, relationships, emotional turbulence, or my place in the world. Oftentimes, I wish I had a mentor or two in my life to guide me on how to walk my path. But I did not have any. So I learned the hard way how things in life work.

Besides the hardship, it has proven to be an invaluable experience (life, that is). After a lifetime of navigating life on my own, I ended up taking a coaching course at Coach Transformation Academy in Dubai that included mentoring in its curriculum. Little did I know at the time, that this course would change my life. After getting certified in coaching by CTA, and mentoring by IMC, I discovered that I was more inclined towards mentoring, although I had mastered the necessary skills coaching offers as well. So, after some time trying to find within myself the path forward for me, at some point I envisioned a service where people would get exactly what I lacked in my entire life -mentorship. After all, I subscribe to the idea that we should become the people we wish we had in our lives when we were younger.
 

So, in May 2025 I founded The Path Forward - Mentoring Center in Cyprus with a sole mission: to improve lives. By providing mentoring services to those who need it, TPF is committed to make the lives of its clients more meaningful and prosperous. Unlike psychological services that focus on internal turbulence as a result of psychopathology, The Path Forward - Mentoring Center aims to provide guidance and clarity in matters that concern navigating life from an existential and practical standpoint, outside of therapeutic frameworks.

In terms of professional experience, I have worked for 13 years in various industries, spanning from multinationals to the third sector to manual work across seven countries in Europe and the U.S.A., and have studied in three countries, graduating with two degrees. I have also worked as an educational consultant for a higher education agency and as an employability consultant for a mental health charity. I love guiding others, hence my decision to found my own service.
